About us

We are Paul and Jo Power, thus Power Squared! Paul has been creating stained glass pieces for over 30 years. Jo is involved in the design and color choices as well as creating the more organic designs used in some of the pieces. Paul's designs have emphasized geometry, math and illusions.

After moving to Eldorado seven years ago we became inspired by the designs of Native American Indian baskets and have been creating Stained Glass interpretations of the basketry.

We worked out of our 300 sq. ft. studio in Littleton Colorado for 21 years, but the growth of the neighborhood and the resulting increase in traffic, light and noise prompted us to look for a more peaceful place to live and create. We had been visiting New Mexico frequently for years and fell in love with the architecture and landscape and the wonderful art community of Santa Fe. We bought a home in Eldorado just South of Santa Fe where we work in our 700 sq. ft. studio with views of the surrounding mountains and high desert. It is a beautiful, quiet and inspiring place!
